Jesse Farber -LOCATED
Case Summary
On August 11, 2015, Jesse made a frantic phone call to his girlfriend at 8:55 PM. He told her he was behind the High School in Tamaqua, PA and was being chased by coyotes. He has not been heard from since.
Over a year later, a hunter found a pair of weighted sweatpants and up in a tree, a backpack, believed to be Jesse's. The area is extremely rugged terrain and the pathways are often bordered by one or both sides by deep pits, resulting from former coal strip mines. At some points the path is only 2 feet wide. Despite numerous search efforts, Jesse has never been located.
UPDATE In July of 2025, some ATV riders discovered remains on one of the mountain Ridges nearby. On1/25, those remains were positively identified as belonging to Jesse Farber. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends
